PDS20 Transmission Line Monitoring & Dynamic Line Rating Software

Complete software package designed to receive, process, store, send and display data from multiple sensors

Designed to receive data from PowerDonuts® and Weather Stations, the PDS20 software will obtain line data, weather data and compute additional calculations like Dynamic Line Rating, Sag and Tension. Data monitoring and analysis of power grid assets is done in real-time and polling can be configured at customer specific intervals, starting at 5 seconds.

Software includes a user-friendly data visualization tool for real-time data analysis to monitor the grid. Historical data is stored in a SQL database and can be set-up to periodically transform data to CSV files. Trigger alarms are available for temperature and other measurements that have surpassed accepted thresholds.

The communication architecture is custom for specific user needs, with the ability to have a local server, communicate between servers, integration to EMS and SCADA systems and the option to operate on Cloud-based servers. Data access to HMI platforms can be configured for secure online data monitoring that works on Computers, Tablets and Cell Phones.
